MJ Akbar raped me, says US-based journalist


A US-based, India-born girl journalist has accused former minister of state for exterior affairs MJ Akbar of raping her years in the past when he was one in all India’s main editors.

Pallavi Gogoi — who’s now the chief enterprise editor on the non-profit Nationwide Public Radio (NPR) — wrote a prolonged blogpost recalling how she was “preyed” upon by Akbar when he was editor of the Asian Age.
