Gold Porsche too shiny, All that glitters can’t stay on the road.
Last week, German authorities pulled over a gold Porsche in Hamburg and told its driver its sparkly surface was unsafe for the roads. But the glimmering bandit just didn’t listen and was pulled off the road yet again on Friday — this time for good.
At the initial stop, police told the car’s owner its shiny finish could blind other motorists, instructing him to deshine the car and re-register it under the new color. But soon they spotted the criminal gleam on the roads again. This time, officers took the driver’s keys and license plate, fined him, and towed the vehicle away.
German outlet Morgenpost reports a similarly dazzling Lamborghini was also rounded up last week, but its owner agreed to remove the sparkle. Put on some shades and take a glance at the offending Porsche below.
