Baltimore explosion killing 1 and injuring 3 others.

UPDATE: Baltimore City Fire officials say 6 people involved in West Baltimore gas explosion.

Officials say 4 people were transported in serious condition, 1 adult woman dead and firefighters continue to rescue additional occupant.

The cause is under investigation as we continue to search for any possible additional occupants.

Governor Larry Hogan tweeted, “We are closely monitoring the situation in northwest Baltimore following this morning’s horrific explosion. We have reached out to offer our full support to the ongoing response and recovery efforts, and are deeply grateful to the first responders on the scene.”

UPDATE AS OF 11:30 AM: Baltimore City firefighters are on the scene of a major gas explosion at Labyrinth and Reisterstown Road involving 3 homes.

Officials say there are 2 occupants transported in serious condition, 1 adult woman dead as they continue to search for more.

UPDATE AS OF 10AM: Baltimore Firefighters say 3 patients, all critical have been rescued by firefighters.

Special Rescue Operations units have arrived and are beginning to search and rescue the other patients.

Medic units have been called and units from Baltimore County firefighters have been called to help.

A major explosion occurred near Reisterstown Road on Monday morning, according to reports.
